Today was fun. It was HOT (record breaking 100 degrees here) so we thought it was a perfect chance to stay cool by taking in a matinee show on Broadway. We decided to see a show with a "name" in it. La Cage Aux Folles starred Kelsey Grammer, and it was SO entertaining. Really, really, great. Afterwards we had dinner at a cozy place in the neighborhood "The Little Owl". It is amazing how great a $20 entree you can get in NYC. Yum. The Nutella Beignets ROCKed.
Broadway and Times Square are really crazy with all the people, cars, lights. Fun to visit...it is nice to go home to our tree lined street in "the Village".
Kelsey ended his show with a kiss, and I plan to do the same with my guy.
Think that's a wig he wears in the show????
