Wednesday night, Gary, me and 30,000 of our BFF's gathered on the Great Lawn in Central Park. The NY Philharmonic, and featured horn player, Branford Marsalis played. The concert concluded with fireworks bursting overhead.
The Great Lawn is an open area, surrounded by trees with buildings along the outer edges. Great setting. I thought it was a very " New York " experience. Really, you could take in free entertainment of one form or another pretty much every night all summer long.
