I never realized that the fireworks here were set off on 6 barges simultaneously. The distance from barge #1 to barge #6 is 25 blocks, so the display is a mile wide, and 1000 feet in the air. We were sitting right in the center, so we could see all 6 booms at one time. It was neat to see the fireworks reflect off the buildings and the water. They lasted 26 minutes. Big Deal Here! It is pretty amazing that we finagled such a great view when you consider we didn't really know where to go.
