FROM FAMOUS ED SULLIVAN STUDIO - its David Letterman

I wouldn't walk across the street to see Jay-Z (or especially Eminem)...but we were willing to hop the subway to watch the taping of the David Letterman show today. The studio set was fun to see-more intricate than you expect--, and Dave seemed really relaxed. The experience started with an assistant whose job it was to get the crowd "up". He told us that if we heard a joke and were trying to figure out if it was "ha ha funny" or if it was "belly-laughing funny" that we should remember that today, that joke was "frickin hilarious". We had a great time, and in the end, both J-Z and Eminem turned out to be pretty funny. The two of them did a concert on the roof and P-Diddy (or is that his old name?) was in the concert audience. We didn't see Jay-Z arrive, but the people in line with us did...he arrived in a convertible hummer. Selma Hyak was the guest for the show they taped before ours. So the paparazzi were all around the stage door entrance most of the afternoon. Our show taped Monday at 6pm, it will air on Friday. Sorry the photo attached to this post wasn't a little more exciting, but they had strict no photo policy before, during or after the show....so ya got me instead of Dave.
