While walking we had noticed a fairly big intersection where a few streets converge to form a triangle. They have a little seating area just set up in the middle of this street island with a few umbrellas.... I guess they create a little park space here wherever they can. Today, we were by there again, and there is a music conductor waving his arms with much gusto. All around are music stands and anybody could just walk up and join the philharmonic band!!
There was a banner up that said "Interactive Music NYC". This type of scene is why we love our neighborhood so much. People live around here and there is always something interesting to observe.
